For sanding metal surfaces uneeda s most frequently used aluminum oxide products would be pa631 and xa911 for wet operations which will typically come in a fine grit that provides an excellent finish.

There are two different methods you can use which we ve found to be more effective than working with standard sandpaper.
Floors that have been painted may even require you to go tougher and use 24 or 16 grit paper.
I recommend going to at least 1000 grit and perhaps 1500 grit.
